Called Courageous is a ministry located in Youngsville, NC and devoted to helping Christians discern God’s presence and respond with trust. Through prayer and reflection grounded in Scripture, it supports the slow, deliberate work of spiritual formation and the courage to follow God’s calling in daily life.

About Me

I'm Tara, an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren and a board-certified health and wellness coach (NBHWC). My calling has been shaped through seasons of seeking God in uncertainty and longing. Over time, I have come to trust that God meets us in the ordinary rhythms of our lives and gently forms us through His presence.

I believe that spiritual growth happens not through pressure or performance, but through attentive presence with God. I have seen again and again that the Holy Spirit works through relationship, where two or three are gathered, to speak truth and direction into our lives.

My desire is to be a steady companion as you attend to God’s movement in your life.
